
Jennifer has spent the last 22 years as a registered social worker, working with various ethnic and cultural groups. She is also a certified life coach, motivational speaker, trainer and author. Jennifer has earned two honors bachelor’s degrees, a master’s in social work and is a certified Extended DISC trainer. She was chosen as one of the recipients of the Queen Elizabeth the II Diamond Jubilee medal in 2013 for her community work and as one of Canada’s women of confidence in the national publication, Chatelaine magazine
In recent years, Jennifer has co-created All Women L.E.A.D. – an initiative to support women learning how to use and become increasingly more self-aware in their leadership abilities. She is also the co-creator of the Anti-Racism Education Program, Shifting Perspectives.
When she’s not working, Jennifer spends much of her time volunteering in the community. She cofounded the Black London Network, served as the Vice-President of the Congress of Black Women London Chapter and co-executive produced Melanated View – a talk show created to help to engage conversation with the community through television and social media platforms about issues related to the Black community.
Jennifer is currently a Board member of The Grand Theatre and is the new host of the Rogers Community Television Show – What’s Up London. She lives by the motto: To whom much is given much is required.
